Job Title: Cashier / Accounts Officer
Location: Abuja

Role
- Full-time, shift-based (evenings, weekends & public holidays)
position in Gwarinpa, Abuja. Reports to the General Manager. 1 opening.
Core Purpose
- Act as the financial gatekeeper of the venue. Handle all payments
accurately, maintain strict cash controls, keep clean and auditable
records, and support the General Manager with daily sales reports, expense
tracking and management accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the POS system and process cash, card, transfer and mobile
payments accurately and courteously
- Reconcile POS totals, cash, transfers and card settlements every
shift
- Perform daily cash-ups, banking summaries and variance
investigations
- Record sales, expenses, supplier invoices and payments in the
accounting system
- Manage petty cash, deposits for events and conference bookings
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales and financial reports
- Support payroll preparation and staff financial records
- Assist with tax compliance, audits and internal financial controls
- Maintain strict confidentiality and report any suspected fraud or
irregularities immediately
Requirements
- Minimum: OND/HND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business
Administration or related field
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2–4 years’ experience in cashiering, accounts or bookkeeping
(restaurant, hotel, lounge or high-volume retail preferred)
- Strong POS, Excel/Google Sheets and basic accounting software skills
- Solid knowledge of cash controls, reconciliations and basic Nigerian
tax requirements
- Impeccable honesty and integrity (verifiable references required)
- Minimum age: 21
