About
the Role
- We
are seeking a commercially driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to
lead our sales function and drive revenue growth for our plastic
manufacturing business.
- The
successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies,
expanding the Company's customer base, managing key accounts, and
achieving agreed revenue and sales targets.
Key
Responsibilities
- Develop
and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume
targets.
- Identify
and develop new business opportunities and expand the Company's customer
base.
- Build
and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Develop
and manage key accounts across relevant markets and customer segments.
- Monitor
market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and pricing trends
within the plastic industry.
- Prepare
sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
- Monitor
sales performance against agreed targets and implement corrective actions
where necessary.
- Work
closely with Production and Operations Teams to align production capacity
with customer demand.
- Collaborate
with Procurement and Finance to ensure effective order fulfillment,
pricing, and payment management.
- Negotiate
commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and agreements with customers within
approved limits.
- Identify
opportunities to improve customer retention, repeat business, and overall
customer value.
- Monitor
customer complaints and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with
relevant departments.
- Ensure
accurate and timely updating of sales records, customer information,
orders, and pipeline activities.
- Lead,
coach, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
- Develop
and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular updates to
Management.
- Attend
industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings to strengthen the
Company's market presence.
- Provide
Management with market intelligence and recommendations on new products,
pricing, and market opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related
field.
- 5 - 8
years of sales experience, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG,
plastics, packaging, or a related industry.
- Proven
track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong
understanding of B2B sales and customer relationship management.
- Experience
managing key accounts and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Strong
knowledge of market development, pricing, sales forecasting, and pipeline
management.
- Excellent
communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong
commercial awareness and ability to translate market opportunities into
revenue.
- Experience
selling plastic products, packaging materials, household plastics,
industrial plastics, or related products will be an advantage.
- Ability
to lead and motivate a sales team.
