About
the Role
- Dokitami
is looking for a Copywriter who can create clear, persuasive,
emotionally engaging, medically responsible, and conversion-focused
content across multiple marketing and communication channels.
- The
role goes beyond simply writing. The Copywriter is expected to understand
the target audience, research customer needs and objections, develop
strong creative angles, produce compelling copy, and continuously improve
content based on feedback and performance data.
Key
Responsibilities
- Write
copy for Facebook and Instagram advertisements, including static ad
copy and multiple creative variations.
- Develop video
advertisement and UGC scripts.
- Create landing
pages, sales pages, website copy, and product pages.
- Write email,
WhatsApp, and SMS campaigns.
- Develop
blogs, social media content, captions, headlines, hooks, CTAs, and product
descriptions.
- Support
promotional campaigns, offer launches, retargeting campaigns, educational
content, and lead-generation campaigns.
- Prepare
printed and partner marketing materials and internal marketing
communications when required.
- Conduct
audience, customer, competitor, and market research to inform copy.
- Work
closely with Creative, Design, Video, Medical Communications, Media
Buying, Sales & Communication, and Business
Development teams.
- Develop
different messaging angles based on audience needs, objections, desired
outcomes, and customer language.
- Review
campaign and marketing performance data and use insights to improve future
copy.
- Receive
feedback, revise quickly, and maintain version control.
- Maintain
and organise a library of high-performing copy, hooks, headlines, scripts,
offers, testimonials, FAQs, and objection responses.

- Output–
completed deliverables and turnaround time
- Quality–
accuracy, brand consistency, and revision rate
- Marketing
Performance– CTR, CPL, conversion, lead quality, sales, and landing-page
performance where attributable

quality of hooks, angles, and messaging variations

attendance, availability, responsiveness, and communication

ability to apply feedback, reduce repeated errors, and use performance
data to improve copy
Daily
& Weekly Expectations
Daily:
- Check
Slack and company communication channels.
- Review
assigned tasks and deadlines.
- Prioritise
urgent deliverables.
- Conduct
necessary research.
- Write,
self-edit, verify, and submit copy.
- Respond
to feedback and complete revisions.
- Collaborate
with relevant team members.
- Organise
completed work and communicate blockers early.
Weekly:
- Review
completed and outstanding work.
- Analyse
campaign feedback and copy performance.
- Review
winning and underperforming copy.
- Identify
new creative angles.
- Review
customer objections and market developments.
- Update
the copy library.
- Identify
opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare
for upcoming campaigns.
Healthcare
& Medical Copy Requirements
- Because
Dokitami operates in healthcare, the Copywriter must maintain a high level
of accuracy and responsibility when handling medical information.
- The
role requires careful handling of medical claims, clinical statistics,
treatment outcomes, safety claims, contraindications, medical
recommendations, scientific evidence, and product capabilities. Content
requiring clinical verification must go through the appropriate Medical
Communications or clinical approval process.
- The
Copywriter must not fabricate medical claims, statistics, testimonials, or
product information.

Compensation
& Work Support Allowance:

Base Salary

Work Support Allowance
- The
₦50,000 allowance is intended to support remote-work expenses such as
internet, mobile data, communication, software, digital tools, and other
incidental work-related expenses.
