Job Title: Procurement Sourcing Specialist (Heavy-duty Equipment and Machinery)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Sourcing Specialist to manage our sourcing operations, with a strong focus on heavy-duty equipment and machinery.
The ideal candidate will bring strategic procurement expertise, strong analytical acumen, and excellent negotiation skills to support cost-effective sourcing and vendor management efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for heavy-duty equipment and related machinery.
Conduct thorough cost and financial analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Evaluate and manage supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and continuous improvement strategies.
Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with procurement objectives.
Utilize ERP and procurement systems to track purchasing activities and maintain accurate records.
Monitor market trends and supply chain risks that may impact sourcing decisions.
Resolve supplier issues and disputes promptly to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Requirements
Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree
Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar procurement or sourcing role.
Strong background in sourcing and selling heavy-duty equipment and machinery.
Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to prepare financial reports and conduct cost analysis.
Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in procurement tools and software, particularly ERP systems.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an added advantage.
Familiarity with global sourcing practices and vendor compliance requirements.
