Overview
The Deputy Sales Head is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business growth and profitability. This role involves managing the sales of bakery and flour-related products, driving revenue through B2B and B2C channels, and fostering strong customer relationships.
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the bakery, flour, and food processing industry, along with a strong background in sales leadership.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.
Ensure consistent and profitable sales growth through effective planning, deployment, and management of sales personnel.
Establish and oversee effective sales programs, including compensation, coaching, training, and performance appraisals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the bakery, flour, and related industries.
Monitor stock levels and align with business forecasts and sales plans.
Identify training needs and facilitate professional development programs.
Prepare and manage sales budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with a strong background in B2B sales within the bakery, flour, or related food processing industries.
Exposure to B2C sales, brand management, and marketing of consumer food products.
Proven track record in sales leadership, business development, and team management.
Willingness to travel extensively within Nigeria and West Africa as required.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
