Summary
- We are seeking a dynamic Business
Development Manager to drive growth, forge strategic partnerships, and
enhance our market position.
- The Business Development Manager
will be responsible for the growth and management of the company,
identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and
driving revenue growth across our group’s sectors.
- The ideal candidate will have a
strong background in sales, market expansion, and strategic planning
within real estate (most especially), hospitality, construction, or
mining.
Responsibilities
- Developing a Strategy for the
existing business growth and development and management of company(ies)
- Identify and pursue new business
opportunities in real estate, hospitality, construction, and mining
sectors.
- Develop and implement growth
strategies to expand market share.
- Build and maintain strong
relationships with clients, investors, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify
trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
- Lead negotiations for partnerships,
joint ventures, and high-value deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams
(marketing, operations, finance) to align business objectives.
- Prepare and present business
proposals, feasibility reports, and financial projections.
- Represent the company at industry
events, conferences, and networking forums.
- Monitor industry regulations and
ensure compliance in all business dealings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field. An MBA is a
plus.
- 5+ years of proven experience in
business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within real estate,
hospitality, construction, or mining.
- Strong network of industry contacts
in Lagos/Nigeria.
- Excellent negotiation,
communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in market analysis and
financial modelling.
- Ability to work independently and
lead cross-functional teams.
Preferred
Skills:
- Experience working in a diversified
group of companies.
- Knowledge of the Lagos real estate
market, hospitality trends, or mining regulations.
- Familiarity with government tenders
and public-private partnerships (PPP)*.
