are invited from suitably qualified Kenyan and Somali nationals for the
following position:
Job Title: Grants and Information Manager
Duration: Two (2) Years
Job
Summary: The
incumbent will support the country programme in grants management, proposal and
programme development, information / communications management and
representation in key coordination and advocacy meetings.
Job Specification:
- A
degree in development, project management or a related discipline
- At
least two (2) years’ experience with an NGO with at least one (1) year
overseas in developing donor proposals, managing donor grants, documenting
lessons learnt and developing case studies and communications materials
for different audiences.
- Experience
working in Somalia/Somaliland is an added advantage.
- Programmatic
knowledge of any of the following sectors: Health and Nutrition, Food,
Income and Markets (FIM), Education, WASH, Natural Resource Management,
Resilience and familiarity with donor-specific reporting and compliance
requirements.
