Intern Product Ambassador – Rupu Shops

Major Purpose   

·                     Maintain relations between Ringier Kenya and its rupu shops merchants

·                     Keep, update and improve on inventory templates files

·                     Ensure accuracy of the data added on rupu shops. This includes but is not limited to correct; quantities, colors, sizes, descriptions, images, availability timelines and shipping costs

·                     Work with Project Manager – rupu shops in the identification of items on rupu shops that would be ideal for specific marketing campaigns

·                     Help in the generation and qualification of sales leads especially for merchants that we would like to have on rupu shops or of those who wish to be on the platform

·                     Spearhead development of fashion related content, including trends and styling

·                     Coordinate photo-shoots for merchant items in conjunction with the Project Manager

·                     Contribute to broad strategic initiatives e.g. email and online marketing monitoring and reporting competitor’s activities and numbers

·                     Research and identify opportunities for Ringier Kenya to further distinguish its offering

·                     Research fashion trends and stay current on contemporary styles

·                     Take over any duties assigned

Working Relationships

·                     (Internally & Externally)    Technical department to fix bugs, implement new features and ensure smooth running of the platform

·                     Project Manager – rupu shops – coordination and collaboration in the execution of day to day tasks

·                     Head of Sales – merchant identification, qualification and approval

·                     Marketing Team for SEO & SEM optimization

·                     Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction and effective social marketing

Qualification and Experience

·                     Attention to detail is critical and a self-starter approach is essential

·                     Team player, self-motivated, entrepreneurial and very comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment

·                     Strong ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, via written and oral formats, to all levels of the organization

·                     Exceptional MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

·                     B.A. or B.S.; undergraduate business program a plus

·                     Knowledge of fashion and fashion trends a plus
