Impact Research and Development Organization is a registered Kenyan Non-Governmental Organization with a main office in Kisumu and regional offices in Bondo, Nyando, Rongo, Migori, Nyatike, Homa Bay, Suba,  Pokot  North  and  Busia  County.  

Its  principal  mandate  is  to  design,  implement  and  evaluate HIV/AIDS research and  intervention programs that improve the health status of individuals and local communities. 

We are looking for qualified and experienced personnel to fill in the following position at the head office.

Senior Accountant

Job  Summary:    Handle  finances  for  the  project, process  salaries, supervise  accounts  staff  prepare financial reports and budgets.

Minimum Requirements:

·                     Bachelors’ degree in Commerce - Accounting or Finance Option.  Masters degree in Accounting or Finance is an added advantage.

·                     Must be a Certified Public Accountant.

·                     At least 3 years’ experience in an NGO setting.

·                     Good knowledge of Accounting software and Microsoft Office Packages.

·                     Experience with preparing budgets for proposals is an added advantage.

·                     Must be able to work under pressure.
