Business Manager

The Nation Media Group is the largest independent media house in
East and Central Africa with operations in print, broadcast and digital
media.
We are seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Business
Manager, for all our print products, who will add value to the operations of
the Group through the Advertising Department.
He/She will report to the designated Commercial Manager -
Advertising.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Planning,
coordinating and managing a team of Business Executives expected to
deliver on agreed targets;
- Coaching,
mentoring and motivating the sales team;
- Proven
performance overtime and demonstrable potential to fit in the role;
- Maintaining
good client service and relationship management;
- Developing
and implementing sales strategies and campaigns;
- Maintaining
and fostering business relationships and
- Contributing
to the team goals while ensuring the achievement of the organisation’s
corporate culture and values.
Knowledge, skills and experience requirements:
- Basic
University Degree;
- Diploma
in Sales and Marketing;
- At
least 3 years’ working experience in a sales and marketing environment;
- Leadership
and people management skills;
- Excellent
interpersonal skills and customer service skills
