Invitation to Tender for Provision of Security Services
 
Kenya Rural Roads Authority hereby invites bids from eligible Kenyan firms to submit Proposals for provision of Security Services. Tender Documents can be purchased by interested Bidders at a non-refundable fee of Kshs.5, 000.00 (Five thousand only), by Bankers Cheque in favor of Kenya Rural Roads Authority.
 
The tender is divided into four (4) lot numbers which represent 47 counties. Biddders are eligible to bid in all the four lot numbers and must indicate the lot number they wish to bid. 

However, for bidders to qualify for more than One (1) lot, they must attain maximum scores in criteria No. 1, 2, 3, 6 & 7 found in clause 19 (Section C- Evaluation Criteria) in the tender document.
 
Tender documents shall be collected from KeRRA Offices, Blue Shield Towers, 10th Floor against an official receipt of the Authority, from 20th December, 2012.

The Mandatory requirements for tendering are as follows:-
 
i) Similar previous experience
 
ii) Reference from reputable clients.
 
iii) Possession of Radio communication equipments.
 
iv) PIN & Vat certificates.
 
v) Certificate of incorporation
 
vi) Valid tax compliance certificate.
 
vii) Operational Plan.
 
viii) Bid bond of Ksh. 100,000.00

Or deposited in the Tender Box on the 6th Floor Blue Shield Towers, Hospital Road, Upper Hill on or before 11.00 a.m on Wednesday, 9th January, 2013.

Opening of the Bids will take place immediately thereafter in the Board Room, Blue Shield Towers, 6th Floor, in the presence of Tenderers/Representatives who wish to attend.
 
The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals without giving reasons thereof.
