Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Ticketing
Officer to manage passenger bookings, ticket sales, travel schedules and
ticketing records while ensuring a smooth and efficient passenger
experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage passenger bookings, ticket sales, reservations and
cancellations.
- Provide accurate information on travel schedules, routes, fares and
departure times.
- Issue tickets and receipts, ensuring proper documentation of all
transactions.
- Receive and reconcile ticket payments and maintain accurate daily
sales records.
- Respond to passenger enquiries, complaints and booking-related
issues professionally.
- Coordinate with terminal and operations teams to ensure timely
departures and passenger readiness.
- Prepare daily ticket sales and revenue reports.
- Prevent ticketing errors, unauthorised discounts and revenue
leakages.
- Maintain accurate passenger records and comply with company
ticketing procedures.
Requirements
- OND, HND or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration,
Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
- 1 - 3 years' experience in ticketing, customer service, cashiering
or transportation operations.
- Good numerical, communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ticketing or
booking software.
- High level of accuracy, honesty, accountability and attention to
detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple bookings and work
flexible shifts when required.
