Job Title: Production Superintendent
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Manage daily production operations, ensuring compliance with HSSE standards
Monitor production and quality metrics, addressing inefficiencies promptly
Oversee maintenance activities to ensure equipment functionality and availability
Lead troubleshooting efforts and ensure uninterrupted production processes
Support project execution, engineering, procurement, and commissioning activities
Prepare daily production and evacuation reports; present performance updates to stakeholders
Identify operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and enforce compliance
Coordinate with technical and support teams to maintain smooth workflows.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil/Structural) or related fields
Minimum of 15 years’ supervisory experience in oil & gas production operations in Nigeria
Proven experience in swamp and offshore operations, plus project management expertise
Valid IWCF certification and a strong HSSE compliance record are required
Strong leadership, operations management, and troubleshooting skills
Expertise in production forecasting, workflow planning, and contractor management
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Integrity, adaptability, analytical thinking, and results orientation.
