Job Title: Pediatric Live-In Nurse

Location: Suncity Estate, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Fixed-Term (1 Year, with review and possible extension)

Position Summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Live-In Nurse to provide comprehensive medical and personal care for a newborn.

  • The Nurse will be responsible for ensuring the infant’s health, safety, and overall development while residing full-time with the family.

  • This role requires proven expertise in newborn and pediatric care, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively in a private household environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialised and professional nursing care for the newborn in accordance with medical standards.

  • Monitor and record vital signs, feeding schedules, sleeping patterns, and developmental milestones.

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the pediatrician.

  • Ensure a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment at all times.

  • Provide guidance and education to parents on newborn care, health management, and developmental needs.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records of the newborn.

  • Respond promptly to any health-related concerns, emergencies, or changes in the infant’s condition.

  • Collaborate effectively with parents and other household staff to support smooth daily routines.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or equivalent qualification with valid practicing license.

  • Minimum of 5 -10 years hands-on experience in pediatric or neonatal care (NICU experience advantageous).

  • Current Infant and Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage newborn health, nutrition, and early development.

  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and respect for household privacy.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to the needs of a live-in role.

  • Age: 27 - 35 years Old.
