Job Summary


  • The Hotel Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the hotel to ensure safety, efficiency, and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment, including lighting, wiring, panels, and power outlets.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, hotel policies, and local regulations.

  • Assist with energy-saving initiatives and recommend improvements for efficiency.

  • Support other maintenance staff with technical expertise when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Trade certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in hospitality or commercial buildings.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.

  • Ability to work independently and handle emergencies effectively.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
