Job Description
We are seeking energetic and service-oriented Food Service Associates to join our team at a fast-paced cinema food outlet.
As the first point of contact for moviegoers, you’ll be responsible for taking orders, preparing light meals, processing payments, and ensuring a clean and friendly customer environment.
This role requires strong multitasking, attention to hygiene, and a passion for excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and provide menu guidance.
Take and confirm orders accurately.
Upsell snacks, drinks, and available promotions.
Handle feedback and escalate complaints professionally.
Food Handling & Prep:
Assemble and serve snacks such as shawarma, hot dogs, fries, and popcorn.
Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times.
Monitor food stock levels and notify the supervisor for restocking.
Point of Sale (POS) Operations:
Operate POS terminals for order entry and payment processing.
Issue receipts and balance cash drawer at end of shift.
Cleanliness & Support:
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow closing procedures, including cleaning routines and trash disposal.
Assist with stock checks and back-of-house duties as needed
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE / OND.
At least 6 months to 1 year experience in food service, retail, or hospitality is an advantage.
Prior experience in a QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), cinema, or food kiosk is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and stay calm in high-traffic periods.
Basic knowledge of POS systems and transaction handling.
Team-player attitude with high attention to cleanliness and speed.
Ability to stand for long periods during shifts.
Willingness to lift light items and perform repetitive tasks
