Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Senior Associate to lead and support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance processes.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to improving financial systems and controls.
This is a strategic finance role ideal for a certified accountant looking to add value to a growing organization.
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards.
Oversee general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
Ensure tax compliance and coordinate statutory filings with regulatory bodies.
Supervise audit processes and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.
Implement and improve internal controls, risk management, and financial policies.
Provide strategic financial insights to management and support cost-efficiency initiatives.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial laws and regulatory changes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
8 – 12 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial roles.
ACA (ICAN certification) is required.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and Nigerian financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
Salary
N900,000 Monthly.
