Based in Nairobi
The incumbent
working in the OCHA EA Communications Unit will be part of a team that
continues to draw attention to humanitarian crises in the region, and work to
promote improved two way communication between humanitarian actors and disaster
affected/vulnerable communities.
This is to
ensure humanitarian and development interventions are more inclusive, efficient
and accountable.
Summary of Key Functions:
- Network Building
- Implementation of a common advocacy platform
- Coordination and social media output
- Facilitation of knowledge building and management
