Position
Overview: The role of the Business Development & Marketing Officer is primarily responsible for gathering and analysing information
to help identify and define marketing opportunities.
Key
responsibilities of the position include

Provide strategic marketing programs and identify potential
clients
·
Develop, implement and organise marketing activities
·
Conduct marketing research
·
Promotions
·
Liaise with employers to identify training needs
·
Organise and attend onshore marketing events or conferences
·
Produce and distribute promotional material including website
information
The successful
applicant will ideally possess the following
·
A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Education, Communications
Journalism or similar
·
A minimum of three years experience in a marketing consulting
company including communications writing and editing public relations materials
·
Demonstrated marketing experience in Consulting
·
An established working relationship with industry body and
client
·
Experience in planning and managing events targeting promotion
·
Experience in graphics, websites and multimedia
·
Highly driven, self-motivated and keen to take initiative
·
Highly developed organisational skills and an ability to
prioritise tasks
·
The ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
·
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·
Knowledge of Lean and six sigma is desirable
·
Good understanding of Tenders application process and funding
programs
·
Excellent computing skills
·
A valid driver's Licence
·
