Cement Company Limited (EAPCC) is a leading cement manufacturer, situated in
Athi River about 30km from Nairobi, and pioneered the manufacture of cement in
East Africa in 1933.
Having started as a
trading company importing cement, it has grown over the years and now produces
about 1.3 million tons of cement per annum.
The Company has in the recent past undertaken a rigorous restructuring and reorganization of its operations and management systems in order to reposition itself and reclaim its correct position in the industry.

duplicative in nature, and invites qualified, talented individuals, who are

following vacant position;
Electrical Technician: Ref: EAPCC/ET/MAY/2013
Reporting to the Electrical Engineer, the Electrical Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimum plant efficiency through coordinating of electrical plant maintenance, instrumentation and control equipment according to procedure.
Specific responsibilities will include:-
- Ensure there is
safety in electrical working environment
- Regular
inspection of the plant and ensure the faults identified are rectified as
per required standards
- Carry out
planned maintenance.
- Provide online
support services to the production plant operations and production process
- Installation of
new or modified electrical equipments.
- Liaise with
engineers in innovating new ideas and improvement.
- Troubleshoot
faults on Electrical circuits for efficient running of the machine and
does necessary repairs.
