Qualifications
1. Diploma in General Agriculture
in a recognized Institution.
2. Three years experience
working with rural communities in development
3. Knowledge and preferably
practice of Sustainable Agriculture
4. Ability to work smoothly
with many stake holders
5. Ability to establish and
maintain healthy interpersonal relations
6. Certificate of riding a
motor bike and demonstratable skills ( experience ) for the same
7. Experience of working in
ASAL areas has added advantage
Role and Responsibilities- Community
mobilization; group formation and functioning
- Training on
leadership skills and group conflict resolutions
- Training
on good agricultural practices with emphasis on Sustainable
agriculture
- Training on
small animal husbandry
- Monitoring
and evaluation
- Documentation
and Report writing
The organization has offices in Machakos town but the field
officer will be stationed in the field in Mwala District of Machakos County.
