Maintenance Engineer Job in Nigeria - Remedial Health

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure smooth operations at all our warehouses

  • Supervise and lead maintenance staff across all locations to ensure timely execution of tasks and adherence to safety standards

  • Conduct regular inspections of automobiles and equipment to identify and resolve issues proactively

  • Manage repair and replacement processes for faulty or outdated machinery and systems

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities

  • Oversee the procurement of maintenance supplies and parts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs

  • Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance needs and minimize operational disruptions

  • Develop strategies for energy efficiency and cost savings in facility operations

  • Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions

  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime

  • Monitor maintenance budgets and control expenses to ensure efficiency

  • Manage relationships with external contractors across Nigeria and vendors for specialized maintenance services.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • 5+ years in maintenance management of automobiles with a proven track record of managing vehicles and equipment.

  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems and tools, as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency with MS Office.
