Role Overview
The Head of Marketing will lead the overall marketing strategy and execution for AFL.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution in both traditional and digital marketing.
The individual will be responsible for brand development, customer acquisition, digital campaigns, market research, partnerships, PR, and analytics to position the company as a trusted leader in the fintech lending space.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s business goals.
Lead and mentor a marketing team (digital, content, design, and field officers).
Manage the marketing budget effectively for ROI-driven campaigns.
Brand & Communications:
Build and strengthen brand identity in the financial services space.
Oversee PR, media relations, and strategic partnerships.
Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and touchpoints.
Digital Marketing & Growth:
Lead customer acquisition through performance marketing (SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, affiliates).
Oversee digital campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google Ads.
Leverage data analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) to measure and optimize campaigns.
Drive app/website traffic and conversion through growth hacking techniques.
Traditional Marketing:
Develop and execute offline campaigns including activations, events, radio, and print media.
Build partnerships with local influencers, community groups, and businesses to increase brand reach.
Coordinate field marketing activities to support customer engagement.
Customer Insights & Analytics:
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, customer pain points, and competitive positioning.
Track marketing metrics (CAC, LTV, churn, conversion rates) and provide regular reports to management.
Use insights to refine campaigns and product positioning.
Product & Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Product and Sales teams to align marketing campaigns with product launches and lending products.
Support customer education campaigns to improve adoption and retention.
Requirements
