Role Overview

  • The Head of Marketing will lead the overall marketing strategy and execution for AFL.

  • This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution in both traditional and digital marketing.

  • The individual will be responsible for brand development, customer acquisition, digital campaigns, market research, partnerships, PR, and analytics to position the company as a trusted leader in the fintech lending space.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s business goals.

  • Lead and mentor a marketing team (digital, content, design, and field officers).

  • Manage the marketing budget effectively for ROI-driven campaigns.

Brand & Communications:

  • Build and strengthen brand identity in the financial services space.

  • Oversee PR, media relations, and strategic partnerships.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and touchpoints.

Digital Marketing & Growth:

  • Lead customer acquisition through performance marketing (SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, affiliates).

  • Oversee digital campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google Ads.

  • Leverage data analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) to measure and optimize campaigns.

  • Drive app/website traffic and conversion through growth hacking techniques.

Traditional Marketing:

  • Develop and execute offline campaigns including activations, events, radio, and print media.

  • Build partnerships with local influencers, community groups, and businesses to increase brand reach.

  • Coordinate field marketing activities to support customer engagement.

Customer Insights & Analytics:

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, customer pain points, and competitive positioning.

  • Track marketing metrics (CAC, LTV, churn, conversion rates) and provide regular reports to management.

  • Use insights to refine campaigns and product positioning.

Product & Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Product and Sales teams to align marketing campaigns with product launches and lending products.

  • Support customer education campaigns to improve adoption and retention.
