Job
Summary
- We
are seeking a highly organized, experienced, and result-driven Senior
Store Officer to oversee inventory management and store operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for
detail, and a proven track record of maintaining inventory accuracy and
operational efficiency.
Key
Responsibilities
- Oversee
daily store operations and ensure inventory accuracy is maintained above
97%.
- Supervise
and mentor store officers and support staff to ensure efficient store
activities, stock counts, and reconciliations.
- Monitor
inventory movements, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective
actions and process improvements.
- Prepare
and analyze inventory reports, providing recommendations to enhance stock
management and operational efficiency.
- Ensure
compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs),
safety requirements, and audit standards.
- Train,
coach, and develop store personnel on best practices in inventory control
and warehouse operations.
- Optimize
storage space utilization, manage store resources effectively, and
minimize inventory losses, damages, and obsolete stock.
Requirements
- HND
or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business
Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum
of 4 years' experience in inventory management, warehousing, or
logistics, preferably within the spare parts industry.
- Proven
experience in maintaining and improving inventory accuracy and control
systems.
- Strong
analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency
in inventory management software, particularly Microsoft Navision.
- Ability
to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Important:
