Job Title: Chief Security Officer (CSO)
Location: Lekki Phase1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- We are looking for competent professionals who are ready to
contribute meaningfully to the growth and delivery of quality real estate
projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols
across company offices, construction sites, and residential estates.
- Lead and supervise security personnel, guards, supervisors, and
security contractors.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments across development sites,
completed estates, and company facilities.
- Monitor access control, visitor management, perimeter security,
CCTV, patrols, and incident reporting.
- Develop emergency response procedures for security incidents, theft,
vandalism, fire, trespassing, and other threats.
- Liaise with relevant security agencies and law-enforcement
authorities when required.
- Investigate reported security incidents and prepare detailed reports
for management.
- Ensure proper security coverage for construction materials,
equipment, machinery, and company assets.
- Establish appropriate security arrangements for vacant properties,
construction sites, and occupied residential developments.
- Train and regularly brief security personnel on company policies,
emergency response, customer interaction, and security procedures.
- Advise management on emerging security risks and appropriate
mitigation measures.
Requirements
- A recognized Degree or equivalent qualification in Security
Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Military/Defence Studies, or a
related field.
- At least 10 years significant experience in corporate, estate,
construction-site, residential, or facility security.
- Previous leadership/supervisory experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of security operations, access control, incident
management, and risk assessment.
- Experience managing outsourced security companies/guards is an
advantage.
- Military, police, intelligence, or relevant professional security
background will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, leadership, discipline, and crisis-management
skills.
Remuneration
- Remuneration is open for negotiation and will be commensurate with
experience, qualifications, skills, and the responsibilities of the role.
