Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer - Metering Services

Job Summary
Responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems for oil and gas metering systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop instrumentation systems for custody transfer and allocation metering.
Supervise the installation and commissioning of flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, and control systems.
Ensure metering systems comply with OIML, AGA, API, and ISO standards.
Prepare technical documentation, including PCIDs, control philosophies, and instrument datasheets.
Work closely with calibration technicians and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration.
Perform instrument loop checking and troubleshooting during pre- commissioning and commissioning phases.
Provide technical support during audits, inspections, and client reviews.
Stay updated with advancements in metering and instrumentation technologies.
Requirements
B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
5+ years experience in the oil and gas sector with specialization in instrumentation and metering.
Familiarity with PLC/DCS systems, SCADA, HART, Foundation Fieldbus.
Strong knowledge of ATEX, IECEx, and hazardous area classifications.
Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills.
