World Vision Kenya is a leading

We are seeking highly competent and
outstanding individuals to fill the following positions for an OVC Grant based
in Nairobi
1. Chief of Party (CoP)
Purpose
of the position: Overall responsibility for the leadership and
management of all grant activities, consortium members and staff.
The incumbent has principal
responsibility for representation for the projects to USAID and local
Government entities and provides strategic leadership and supervision of sub-grantees
and sub-contractors while ensuring the security, feasibility, and
sustainability of the program and contribution to Child wellbeing
outcomes.
Experience interacting with host
country government agencies including local governments, development partners,
and civil society organizations including community based organizations is
essential.
The applicant must demonstrate strong
experience in sub-grantee management, including building the capacity of local
organizations and sub-grantees in U.S. government (USG) - supported grants.
Coaching, advising, and enforcement are essential functions of this
position.
As the focus of this project is
Orphans and Vulnerable Children, the most competitive candidates will have
experience in OVC programs.
2. Deputy Chief of Party (DCoP)
2. Deputy Chief of Party (DCoP)
Purpose of the position: Overall responsibility of providing leadership in
project implementation and directly assists the CoP.
The incumbent will be responsible for
the management and overall project operations including grant implementation,
financial accountability, staffing, planning and reporting as assigned by Chief
of Party.
S/he should be familiar with the
technical components of the project and ensure that grants operations and
sub-grantee management activities are in full compliance with USAID regulations
and aligned with national office operations.
3. Grant Finance Manager
Purpose of the position: Responsible for the financial management of the
grant from start-up through close-out.
The incumbent will ensure proper
financial management, accountability, planning, and reporting in alignment with
the goals of the grant, World Vision financial procedures, USAID regulations,
and the grant agreement.
The manager will provide detailed
financial analysis, reporting system and process development, training and
support.
The applicant must demonstrate strong
experience in sub-grantee management, including building the capacity of local
organizations and sub grantees in USAID grant compliance.
4. Monitoring & Evaluation
Coordinator
Purpose of the position: Overall responsibility for providing coordination
and leadership for monitoring and evaluation of the grant, including both
formative (pre-intervention) and summative research (post-intervention).
The M&E Manager must demonstrate
strong experience in monitoring and evaluation of US Government grants and
operate within World Vision organizational structure, principles and values.
