International School in Kilifi is looking to recruit an Operations & General Manager.
The ideal
candidate will have overall responsibility for the operational departments of
the school.
Key Responsibilities- Manage
staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
- Direct
& coordinate financial and budget activities to fund operations,
maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
- Monitor,
manage and improve the efficiency of support services such as IT, HR,
Accounts and Finance.
- Liaison
with top management in the development of strategic and marketing plans
for operational activity.
- Develop
and manage systems, both digital and practical, to support and ensure
efficiency and effectiveness in all school operations.
- Develop
and ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment standards.
- Review
financial statements and data, thus, utilize financial data to improve
profitability.
Qualifications
- Must
have a Bachelor’s Degree in finance or any business related field.
- Must
have 5 years experience in operations management at a senior level in the
education sector.
- Must
be willing to relocate.
- Articulate,
professional demeanour with strong self-confidence and initiative.
- Must
have advanced proficiency in Excel and Quick Books.
- Strong
judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent
organization & project management skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 80,000
- 120,000/= (Approx. 800 - 1,200 USD) depending on experience
