Administrative
Assistant / Office Manager
Purpose of the Position: Our client in the Retail Hardware and security fittings industry is sourcing for an Administrative Assistant / Officer Manager who will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
The position holder MUST have excellent oral and written communication skills,
plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Core Functions:
- Accomplishes
set results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring,
appraising job results, disciplining employees, enforcing systems policies
and procedures.
- Provides
supplies by identifying needs for reception, switchboard, and kitchen
utilities.
- Establishing
policies, procedures, and work schedules.
- Provides
communication systems by identifying needs; evaluating options; maintaining
equipment; approving invoices.
- Establishes
Marketing and Public Relations strategies for the organizations.
- Purchases
printed materials and forms by obtaining requirements; negotiating price,
quality, and delivery; approving invoices.
- Completes
special projects by organizing and coordinating information and
requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring
results.
- Improves
program and service quality by devising new efficient processes and
evaluating system results with users.
- Achieves
financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information
for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs;
analyzing variances.
- Maintains
continuity among corporate, departments, and local work teams by
documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing
needs.
- Contributes
to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

administrative or assistant experience.
- Knowledge
of office management systems and procedures.
