Job Title: Claims Executive
Division / Department: Claims
Immediate Supervisor: General
Manager, Orient Life
Overall Responsibility: Coordinate
and maintain expeditious and efficient processing of claims and ensuring
customers’ needs are attended to properly.
Key Tasks, Duties and
Responsibilities
·
Open and acknowledge new claims
·
Ensure that all claims fall within
scope of respective insurance policy.
·
Ensure payment to policyholders and
service providers within stipulated company benchmarks.
·
Maintain registers and adequate
claims reserves.
·
Respond to correspondence and/or
queries relating to claims falling under area of responsibility.
·
Make recommendations on settlements
of claims falling under area of responsibility.
·
Prepare claims reports which may be
required from time to time.
·
Perform any other duties as required
from time to time.
Requirements
·
A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized
university
·
At least 2 professional papers in
ACII or equivalent
·
2 (Two) years’ experience
Job Title: Underwriting Executive
Division / Department: Underwriting
Immediate Supervisor: General
Manager, Orient Life
Overall Responsibility: The
position is responsible for assessing risks in accordance with laid down
underwriting procedures in the company and to ensure effective and efficient
service delivery to customers
Key Tasks, Duties and
Responsibilities
·
Review all applications for insurance
– determine the profiles of risks presented to the company for insurance and
assess their acceptability or otherwise.
·
Review all reports from various
service providers relating to proposals for insurance.
·
Review proposals for insurance and
adjust benefits where necessary by reviewing previous files, worksheets, etc.
·
Ensure all related activities to
underwriting are properly coordinated and enforced
·
Ensure timely preparation and
dispatch of policy documents.
·
Review of suspense items and follow
up on outstanding requirements with a view to reconciling them in record time.
·
Timely processing of quotations and
tender documents.
·
Any other duties assigned by
management in line with task.
Requirements
·
A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized
university
·
Pass in at least 2 professional
papers in ACII or equivalent
·
2 (Two) years’ relevant experience
Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager
Division / Department: Sales and
Marketing
Immediate Supervisor: General
Manager, Orient Life
Overall Responsibility: Responsible
for identifying and opening new markets, recruitment, training and developing
intermediaries, corporate communication and ensuring sales budgets are met
Key Tasks, Duties and
Responsibilities
·
Recruit, train, supervise and develop
sales teams to meet the company’s set sales objectives.
·
Generate marketing strategies and
carry out market research within and outside the Company.
·
Prepare annual budget for the
department and ensure proper budgetary control.
·
Coordinate and disseminate corporate
marketing strategies to the identified distribution channels.
·
Identify/pursue new business leads
and monitor customer service relationships.
·
Periodic review of marketing policies
and procedures to ensure their relevance to the business strategy and changing
organizational needs
·
Conduct market intelligence and keep
management informed of changing trends.
·
Spearhead product development and
enhancement initiatives.
·
Solicit tenders, issue competitive
quotes on a timely basis in line with agreed internal procedures.
·
Ensure that large /corporate accounts
are acquired and retained.
·
Preparation of periodical management
reports.
·
Explore new business potential in
traditional and non-traditional areas
·
Understand customers’ business
requirements and match them to life
insurance solutions.
·
Design promotional materials that
will add value to the company’s through creating awareness and its products and
services.
·
Organizing events that will enhance
the company image.
·
Design advertisements that will
enhance the image of the company.
·
Implement CSR policy
·
Assist develop company brand policy.
·
Any other duties as may be assigned
by the GM from time to time.
Requirements
·
A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized
university
·
A diploma in Insurance/Marketing
·
5 (Five) years’ working experience,
two (2) of which should be in a senior position
