Assistant Research Officer Job in Nairobi Kenya

KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme is well known internationally for its diverse health studies, including clinical, epidemiological, immunological and health systems research.

The Programme is seeking to recruit an Assistant Research Officer to be based in Nairobi.

The purpose of this position is to assist the principal investigator in overseeing the design and implementation of a study aiming to explore the extent to which e-Health interventions have influenced progress towards health equity in Kenya and to explore their potential for addressing health equity and promoting good health system governance in the country. 

The position holder will be expected to carry out detailed situation analysis and mapping of eHealth and mHealth activities in the country, conducting interviews and extraction of data and analysis and have responsibility for prioritizing their own work and meeting deadlines.
