ACCA is recruiting for a new role of Education Manager based in our Nairobi Office who will be responsible for devising national strategies and ensuring the development and implementation of education services for the broad range of ACCA tuition providers including: universities, the approved learning partners, employers training ACCA and FIA students, and ensuring that ACCA is recognised as part of national education and qualification frameworks.

The Education Manager will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for growth in our student numbers and marketing the ACCA qualifications across Kenya.

To be considered, candidates must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Highly motivated, results oriented and flexible with the skills to build effective long-term relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and the ability to build the ACCA brand, sell the qualification and add value to our business
  • Excellent presentation skills in addition to well-developed written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to present to high-level stakeholders in a confident, mature manner and comfortable with public speaking
  • Proven experience in marketing with a reputable organization
  • Excellent team worker and team player
  • Knowledge of the ACCA qualifications including a detailed grasp of the objectives and requirements of the individual papers in ACCA and Foundations in Accountancy (FiA)
  • Keen interest and knowledge of educational issues and developments in Kenya and globally
  • Knowledge and interest in delivery of accountancy training
  • Practical experience of managing projects, preferably within an educational or training environment
  • Practical experience in data collection and analysis
  • Innovative and imaginative approach to education and teaching methodologies and issues
  • Excellent computer proficiency including skills in database management
  • Degree holder or equivalent qualification with substantial relevant work experience in development, promotion and delivery of accountancy training
