Tullow is seeking to recruit for the following job role:
Job Title: Aviation and Travel Supervisor - Uganda
Reports To: Logistics Manager / Regional Aviation Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a safe,
efficient and effective passenger and cargo air transportation service
- Proactively
manage service provider contracts with significant focus on costs,
performance and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS).
- Develop a
customer friendly central reservations desk and Kampala travel desk to
ensure single point of contact for all travel in and around Uganda.
- Provide
technical input to departments that support the air transportation
service.
- Assist Tullow
with regional and global aviation requirements
- Manage and
schedule personnel air transportation and accommodation require ments in
Kampala and the field.
- Ensure
implementation of Tullow’s booking/reservation software and associated
trainings.
- Ensure
implementation of operational security and safety procedures for the air
transportation service.
- Accountable for
the air transportation services’ budget.
Qualification:
- Holds or has
held a Commercial Pilot License, Navigator License, Air Traffic Control
License or Flight Operations Officer License (or their equivalent).
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’
experience in the aviation industry.
- Proven
experience in a supervisory role in aviation operations or safety or has
successfully completed an Aviation Safety Management or Air Operations
Management course (or their equivalent).
Skills and Knowledge:

of spread sheets and databases including SALEM, MAPS and a
booking/reservation software.
