Job Title: Business Development Officer
Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive company growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Develop and execute effective business development and market expansion strategies.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and product development) to support business objectives.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and reports to potential clients and management.
Monitor business performance and provide regular updates on progress against targets.
Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences.
Job Requirements
First Degree in Engineering, Management, or Social Sciences.
3 – 5 years post-NYSC work experience in a business development or related role.
Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and facilities.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Previous experience in business development within the engineering or procurement industry will be an added advantage.
