Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive company growth.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute effective business development and market expansion strategies.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and product development) to support business objectives.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and reports to potential clients and management.

  • Monitor business performance and provide regular updates on progress against targets.

  • Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences.

Job Requirements

  • First Degree in Engineering, Management, or Social Sciences.

  • 3 – 5 years post-NYSC work experience in a business development or related role.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and facilities.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.

  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.

  • Proven ability to identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

  • Previous experience in business development within the engineering or procurement industry will be an added advantage.
