Our Client, a well established Dry Cargo and logistics company,
with over 25 years experience, is urgently looking to hire a Deputy Project Manager.
The position is on a 2 year Contract.
The tender is for a freight forwarding contract in South Sudan in various
placesThe position is on a 2 year Contract.
Remuneration: USD 1,500- USD 2,000 p.m.
Reporting to the Project Manager
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Assist the Project manager in:
- Build and
maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Continually
watch market to predict trends, directions and changes that impact
our business
- Stay current on
changing legislative issues and lead the company's strategic direction
- Give ALL
customers prompt and courteous service
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s
degree in a relevant engineering or related discipline from a recognized
university.
- Must have a
VALID DANGEROUS GOODS CERTIFICATION, and must have had it for at least 3
years.
- Must have a
minimum of 8 – 10 years experience in logistics
- Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in
cost/benefit and risk analysis
- Ability to
prepare and deliver business presentations to individuals and groups
- Ability to
translate and communicate organizational objectives to departmental goals
and action plans
- Experience with
transport companies, shipping companies and Logistics companies.
