Our client ,a well established Energy company in Kenya is searching for individuals with strong credentials to promote the company's quality program by:
- Establishing,
implementing, and maintaining all quality management system
processes;
- Presenting
the program's performance metrics and recommendations for improvement to
executive management on a regular basis;
- Promoting
awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews
all nonconformities to ensure the corrective action and preventive action
are implemented.
- Evaluate,
maintain, and provide improvements to the quality system (i.e. reporting,
monitoring, and controlling quality control procedures).
- Revise
quality documents according to appropriate approvals.
- Responsible
for the document control element of the quality program, thereby ensuring
that the latest documents are utilized (i.e. quality manual, quality
procedures, quality work instructions, etc.).
- Notify
management of revised documents.
- Monitor
and measure results of corporate quality objectives.
- Interfaces
with the third-party registrars to achieve ISO 9001 registration.
- Promote
the company's ISO 14001-certified environmental management system by
following the company's ISO 14001 environmental policies, procedures, and
work instructions.
- Provides
and maintains a work environment that encourages open and free
communication and participation from all employees by adhering to and
enforcing the Code of Business Conduct policy, on a company-wide basis.
- Promote
the company's safety programs while continually expressing and enforcing
its commitment to safety.
- Maintain
a safe driving record and avoid any at-fault or preventable accidents.
Requirements
- Degree
in Quality Management or relevant field
- Internal
Quality Auditor training from a qualified company preferred.
- A
valid driver's license.
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Minimum
4 year work experience in a quality program.
Work Environment
Environment: The
Quality Management Representative works in varied environments (office/shop)
and uses various required physical skills, including all the senses, for safe
and successful performance of this job. At a minimum, this will include the
ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Travel: This
position is based in Nairobi but there will be travel to the organizations’
various locations to perform work responsibilities, i.e. DRC, Sudan and East
Africa.
Availability: The
Quality Management Representative must be able to support internal and external
customers in the oilfield. This position is equipped with cell phone, portable
computer, and Internet access to allow the servicing of internal and external
customers whenever the need arises.
