Kenya Poultry Farmers Association is the umbrella association of
poultry farmers in the country that seeks to advocate for the rights and needs
of the poultry farmers.
Chief Executive Officer
To effectively coordinate its activities and provide increased
services to the members, the association is seeking to recruit its Chief
Executive Officer.
Some of the duties of the CEO will include the following:
- To plan and
provide strategic leadership in the organization
- To develop
programs based on the needs of the members and coordinate implementation
- To mobilize
resources required
- To
supervise and train other staff
- To support the
board execute its duties
- To
represent the organization at all times
- To report to the
board and partners through quality reports
- To set up
organizational systems and policies required
Qualifications of the person required
- Minimum of a
degree in social sciences (candidates with degrees in animal science will
be preferred)
- A minimum of
five years experience in heading programs or a department and
particularly working with farmers
- Preferred
candidate should be below 40 years
