Learning & Development Manager

Reporting
to the Senior Manager-Learning & Development; the successful candidate will
be involved in providing expertise in L&D researching, developing of
functional and management training content, designing & developing training
and development programs, facilitating and evaluating learning &
development impact.
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop
Management and Information Communication and Technology based
training content and programs including content for Product and Services
to be hosted in Human Resources Learning Management System;
- Deliver
management, leadership and Information Communication and Technology
based learning and development initiatives using blended learning systems
and methodologies
- Develop and
deliver non-traditional learning interventions for identified talent
across the business
- Facilitate need
based interventions for different levels of staff in Management and
specific business units;
- Validate
learning and development needs based on individual staff Performance and
Development Review (PDR), changes in the Business, Technology and
Succession Planning;
- Customize
training content and programs from diverse sources;
- Carry out end of
intervention evaluations to assess whether objectives set before were
addressed and how the program was delivered;
- Carrying out
post intervention evaluation to evaluate the impact on the actual work
performance of the participants;
- Monitoring and
tracking spend on programs assigned;
- Develop and
implement Learning and Development monitoring and reporting matrix for
analyzing and reporting on Learning & Development initiatives on a
Monthly/Quarterly/Annual basis and within SLA;
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and
competencies:
- Degree in Human
Resources Management/ Technical Education or similar qualification from a
recognized university;
- A Telecoms
Degree with Post-Graduate qualifications in Education/Training;
- 8 years
post-graduation experience with 3 years demonstrated experience in
training function management in a Technology based organization;
- Working
experience in content development for ICT based environment ;
- Working
experience in content development for management programs ;
- Certified in
designing and facilitating training with advanced presentation
skills;
- Ability to
execute facilitation process from analyzing individual or group training
needs, defining development plans and training material;
- Ability to
manipulate data to generate matrix based reports weekly, monthly,
quarterly & annually;
- Good
communication, interpersonal and time management skills;
- Proactive,
confident, energetic and ability to work under pressure;
- A team player
with a pleasant outgoing personality with empathy and resilience.
