Position: Procurement Manager
Role: Overall
head of the procurement department
Responsibilities:
- Researching
for new suppliers
- Following
market trends
- Liaising
with suppliers
- Projecting
stock levels
- Negotiating
prices with suppliers
- Reviewing
tenders
- Following
up with suppliers concerning delivery times
- Managing
budgets
- Preparing
reports
- Reporting
to Senior Managers and Executives
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors
degree in finance or business administration
- Relevant
professional training in logistics, supply chain management and
procurement will be an added advantage
- Minimum
ten (10) years working experience
- Good
in relationship management
- Good
in decision making
- Proficient
in planning and organizing
- Able
to meet set targets
- Good
in stress management
- Proficient
in negotiating and networking
- Be
of good judgement and analytical ability
- Able
to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
- Be
good in leadership and teamwork
- Proficient
in problem-solving
- Must
have commercial awareness
- Must
