Our Client:Architectural and Construction firm that has wide experience and specialty in carrying out project management, architectural services, building construction, interior design, general construction, civil works, feasibility reports and business and financial plans
 
Position: Procurement Manager
 
Reporting to: Senior Managers 
 

Role: Overall head of the procurement department
 
Responsibilities:
  • Researching for new suppliers
  • Following market trends
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Projecting stock levels
  • Negotiating prices with suppliers
  • Reviewing tenders
  • Following up with suppliers concerning delivery times
  • Managing budgets
  • Preparing reports
  • Reporting to Senior Managers and Executives
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in finance or business administration
  • Relevant professional training in logistics, supply chain management and procurement will be an added advantage
  • Minimum ten (10) years working experience
  • Good in relationship management
  • Good in decision making
  • Proficient in planning and organizing
  • Able to meet set targets
  • Good in stress management
  • Proficient in negotiating and networking
  • Be of good judgement and analytical ability
  • Able to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be good in leadership and teamwork
  • Proficient in problem-solving
  • Must have commercial awareness
  • Must be an individual of integrity
