Job Title: The College Principal
Station: Matuu Town
Menga training college and driving school is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of the College principal who will live the dream of taking the college to the next level.
Reporting to the college board of directors, the principal will be directly responsible for
·         Propose and advise on the continuing development of the College mission in the context of a changing external environment
·         Develop, together with the directors and stakeholders, comprehensive strategic plans to position the College successfully in in the counties and the changing environment
·         Implement, manage and assess the results of the strategic plan and actions
·         Establish appropriate and effective relationships and networks within the county and wider community to ensure linkage of College activity to stakeholders
·         Implement proper and clear marketing strategy to ensure continued recruitment of new students within the set targets.
·         Provide effective leadership for the College, staff members, and the students.
·         Maintain an atmosphere of trust and engagement of students and staff, to develop the understanding and pursuit of a Learning Community and Lead on maintaining the high reputation of the College.
·         Maintain a clear understanding of the external environment in order to provide authoritative advice to the directors and staff in the best interests of the students, particularly in the light of regulatory changes
·         Inspire outstanding teaching and learning in the College, and the capacity to innovate
·         Consult widely and communicate effectively with staff, students and stakeholders and ensure that the College follows best practice in all matters relating to education.
·         Ensure that students are provided with a safe environment for learning and ensure that the College contributes to the well-being of the local area
Requirements:
The person should possess a diploma in mechanical and electrical engineering preferably in motor vehicle, minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical school, proven management and supervisory skills, good leadership skills and good command of authority and discipline.
A person of high integrity and morals, good marketing and relationship skills.
