Main Purpose of the Role
To Implementing sales and customer service plans to deliver area targets and provide market intelligence data and reports.

Planning and delivering monthly, weekly and daily sales targets

Coordinating collection of sales proceeds within the approved
terms of trade
·
Managing route plans and customer calls by ensuring market
coverage within plan
·
Identifying opportunities and negotiating for incremental
business
·
Coordinating implementation of merchandising and promotional
activities
·
Collecting and collating market intelligence/research on
competitor activities and other market trends for competitive advantage
·
Delivering customer service through relationship management and
ensuring that customer claims are settled in the shortest time possible
·
Determining and coordinating of territory reporting and
communication requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
·
Bachelors Degree in a Business related field from a recognized
institution.
·
At least 5 years comparable experience in the FMCG industry
·
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
·
Negotiation skills
·
High customer orientation
·
Clean Driving License

The Road Tyre Products (OTR)
Main purpose of the job

Implementing sales and customer service plans to deliver area targets and provide market intelligence data and reports with a specific assignment in the Off the Road products (OTR).
This area involves tyres and other related products for road
construction, mining and earth moving machinery.
Among others, key accountabilities will include:-

Preparing the universe market for OTR tyres in Kenya, UG and TZ
·
Mapping out the target outlets for OTR Tyres beginning with
kenya
·
Estimating market sales potential in units and value per month
and annually.
·
Developing an efficient route to market plan and implement

Planning and delivering monthly, weekly and daily sales targets
for the OTR category
·
Coordinating collection of sales proceeds within the approved

engineering products.( experience in a sales function in areas related to OTR
Machines or having worked in the OTR industry)

Financial Accountant
Main purpose of the job
To provide accurate, meaningful and timely financial information, maintenance of the books of accounts and ensuring integrity on all financial transactions processing chain.
Among others, key accountabilities will include:-

Among others, key accountabilities will include:-

Circulating monthly closing timetable and making follow up to
ensure adherence to deadlines.
·
Authorizing journals into the accounting system to enable
preparation of monthly accounts.
·
Assisting in the preparation of monthly consolidated statement
of financial position and statement of cash flows.
·
Reviewing general ledger account reconciliations for accuracy
and timeliness in their preparation.
·
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements for
management as well as other stakeholder’s decision making.
·
Ensuring all relevant taxes for the Group are filed and paid for
on or before due date.
·
Establishing, lodging and following up tax refund claims with
tax authorities (Kenya and Offshore).
·
Analyzing, objecting and resolving tax assessments and inquiries
from various Revenue Authorities and other statutory bodies.
·
Managing relationships with various revenue authorities (KRA,
URA and TRA) on tax matters and ensure full compliance across the SAL network.
·
Assisting in reviewing Subsidiaries’ financial reports for
correctness and accuracy.
·
Balancing-off intercompany ledgers and preparing intercompany
reconciliations including a review of all trial balances.
·
Preparing dormant subsidiaries financial statements for
management decision making.
·
Developing, supervising and coaching assigned staff to enhance
performance for increased productivity.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
·
A Bachelors Degree in Accounting/ Finance or a related business
field
·
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA(K), / ACCA or equivalent) and
be a member of ICPAK
·
At least 4 years relevant working experience in a manufacturing
environment preferably a comparable role
·
Knowledge of IFRS / IAS and Taxation rules and laws
·
Good working knowledge of ERP systems – working knowledge of SAP
Version 6.0 will be an added advantage
·
A team player with excellent communication skills, Attention to
detail, problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
·
High standards of ethics and values
