Business Mentor Network & Employment Officer

CAP Youth Empowerment Institute a registered non – government Organization is looking for the Business Mentor Network and Employment Officer (one) position.

Job Responsibilities
·                     Interacting with various businesses and corporates and creating awareness about the program.
·                     Finding out the job opportunities for CAP YEI trainees and placing them in various entry level job opportunities.
·                     Creating Sectoral councils with various businesses and arranging Sectoral council meetings periodically as per the project guidelines.
·                     Registration of Business mentors as per the company procedures.
·                     Arranging the meetings with various institutions like Kenya Employers Association, Kenya Association of Manufacturers etc.,
·                     Coordinating the Labor Market Potential studies.
·                     Participating in the monthly review meetings of CAP YEI.
·                     Doing the post placement study research and consolidating the placement positions.
·                     Internal and External Communication.
Skills Required
·                     Proven marketing Skills in reputed Organizations.
·                     Excellent Presentation skills are must.
·                     Very good written and proven documentation skills.
·                     Proficient in using Internet.
·                     Good photography skills are added advantage
HR and Communication Officer

CAP Youth Empowerment Institute a registered non – government Organization is looking for the HR & Communication Officer (one) position

Job Responsibilities
·                     Should look into the Daily HR Needs, posting the job adverts, arranging for the interviews for various positions of CAP Youth Empowerment Institute.
·                     Should look into the Employee Contracts, Renewal and Termination.
·                     Recruiting the interns / volunteers for various research projects of CAP YEI.
·                     Setting up internal communication formats and systems.
·                     Development of communication strategies, HR manual development, protocols etc.,
·                     Should develop a competency mapping and performance appraisal system.
·                     Should KRAs and KPIs for the employees.
·                     Representing CAP YEI in various forums, Organisation etc.,
·                     Designing the monthly newsletter of CAP Youth Empowerment Institute.
·                     Attending the CAP meetings and preparing the minutes of the meeting.
·                     Develop communication material for the Organization Progress reports, brochures, case studies, reviewing reports from the field and validating the reports, media relations etc.,
·                     Review and develop the content for the website.
·                     Capturing the Process and document the process flow.
·                     Preparing and sending the documents as per Sponsor’s requirements.
·                     Any other requirement as designated by the responsible authorities.
·                     Internal and External Communication.
Skills Required
·                     Proven HR Skills in reputed Organizations.
·                     Must be good in Corel Draw, PageMaker and Adobe Photoshop.
·                     Very good written and proven documentation skills.
·                     Strong Media Relations are desirable.
·                     Good in using Internet.
·                     Good photography skills are added advantage
Hospitality Trainer

CAP Youth Empowerment Institute a registered non – government Organization is looking for the Trainer - Hospitality position to work in Nyeri district.

Job Responsibilities
·                     Imparting curriculum to the under privileged youth in the age of 18 – 25 yrs.
·                     Participating in Mobilization campaigns conducted periodically to enroll youth into the program.
·                     Arranging exposure visits to the trainees to the reputed hotels.
·                     Facilitating the guest lectures by inviting various hotel and hospitality industry representatives.
·                     Finding out employment opportunities for the young people by making linkages with various hotels, house keeping companies, cleaning companies, catering companies and restaurants.
Skills Required
·                     Excellent Presentation skills are must.
·                     Very good written and proven documentation skills.
·                     Networking skills.
·                     Proficient in using Internet.
All the above positions require diploma / post graduation in Hospitality with 2 to 3 yrs of working experience in a hotel. 

Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills are must. Networking skills are compulsory.
