Purpose of the Job:
Reporting To: The CFO of IS International and the CEO of the company
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the
Senior Executive team to grow and develop a financially sound business
- Maintaining
tight control over the integrity and accuracy of the financial records of
the company through the implementation and regular monitoring of an
internal controls environment which conforms to Group standards
- Preparation and
submission of accurate monthly and required ad-hoc financial reports in
conformity with set timetables and deadlines
- Responsible for
the performance of monthly balance sheet account analysis, asset valuation
review processes and reconciliation of inter-company balances with Group
companies
- Preparation and
timeous submission of the company’s annual budget for Head approval,
conforming to defined budget guideline, principles and timetables.
- Control of
expenditure within approved levels by ensuring compliance with budgetary
control procedures.
- Supervision of
effective credit control and debtor collections
- Preparation of
12 month forwards cash flow projections each month and effective
management of the company’s cash flow.
- Preparation and
timeous submission of accurate updated forecasts on a monthly basis,
facilitating implementation by management of proactive measures to obviate
negative outcomes.
- Analysis and
evaluation of monthly accounts, reviewing actual performance against
budget, identifying trends and highlighting variances, providing accurate
and meaningful commentary and management information to the IS
International Head of Finance, IS International CFO and the company’s CEO.
- Effective
management of litigation, insurance and other claims.

management of the finance team on a day to day basis and in terms of:

the effective preparation for and smooth running of both external and
internal audits and ensuring timeous completion of these processes in line
with Group requirements.
- Responsible for
ensuring the prompt and accurate submission of the company’s tax returns
and other statutory submissions.
- Finalisation of
the company’s statutory annual financial statements on a timeous basis
- Responsible for
ensuring that the company’s statutory secretarial and other records are
kept up to date

Education & Qualifications:
- A tertiary
qualification in Accounting from a highly rated university ot equivalent
instituion
- Working
knowledge and experience in transiting into a new accounting system an
advantage
- Strong knowledge
of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards
