The Position
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide
leadership to the team in the absence of the Head of Department.
- Generate revenue
and quality business from existing Corporate & Institutional clients.
- Drive Segmented
Sales & provide custom made solutions to specific clients &
sectors.
- Ensure clients
have multiple products across the business.
- Monitor trends
and actively identify potential to grow revenue.
- Organize and
plan both prospective and courtesy calls in a wide attempt to manage
relationships.
- Ensure a Forex
and Money Market report is distributed to all internal and external

The Person
- A University
degree from a recognized university in a relevant field, e.g. Statistics,
Maths, Economics, Finance, Computer Science etc preferably with an MBA or
other relevant postgraduate qualification;
- Professional
Banking qualification or equivalent; ACIB/AKIB, CFA, CPA
- Minimum 4 years
proven working experience in a large dealing room/ Treasury Function 2
years of which must be in middle management level.
- Comprehensive
understanding of all Corporate Treasury products
- Experience sales
of Treasury products
- Ability to build
and maintain Business relationships
- Strong
communicator, able to take leadership
- Effective
problem solving skills

Senior Dealer (Asset Liability Management)
Job Ref: TREASURY 04/2012
The Position
Reporting to the Head ALM the position will generate Treasury
revenue from Group ALM processes through strategic positioning of Assets and
liabilities and effectively managing Liquidity, interest rate risks among other
risks.
The position will also support the implementation of a robust
FTP process for the group to ensure optimal pricing of both assets and
liabilities within the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the
execution of both strategic and tactical management responsibilities;
- Assist in cash
flow forecasting process for the group as part of liquidity management and
carry out liquidity scenario analysis;
- Assist in
developing funding plans to ensure an optimal funding mix is achieved.
- Ensure ALM
strategies are executed and monitored for optimal revenue;
- Render support
to subsidiaries’ ALM process aimed at optimizing group performance.
- Provide the
group ALCO with substantive documents on market trends, ALM issues for
decision making;
- Ensure that all
types of liquidity risk within the group are captured and appropriately
managed ensuring the Group meets regulatory Liquidity requirements;
- Understand
business lending pipelines and provide appropriate funding solutions at
optimal pricing
- Add value to the
FTP process and advice transfer rates to various stakeholders on monthly
basis or otherwise as per policy.
- Assist Market
Risk in the planning of ALCO meetings focusing on strategic ALM concerns;
- Manage
efficiency and profitability of liquid asset portfolio, advising on yields
and amounts.
- Monitor market
conditions and explore hedging opportunities for the various books.
- Advice on
liability planning, pricing and market trends.
The Person
- A university
degree from a recognized university in a relevant field e.g. Statistics,
Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics etc
- Professional
Banking qualification or equivalent; ACIB/AKIB, CFA, CPA

The Position
Reporting to the Head of Treasury Sales SME & Retail the
position will generate Treasury revenue from forex sales through managing &
optimizing operations and resources within the SME & Retail sectors of the
Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and
generation of revenues from Forex activity at the SME & Retail level
- Support the
delivery, availability and visibility of Treasury products across the
Group’s delivery channels.
- Support daily
overseeing of the correct application of methods and processes in the
unit.
- Co-ordinate
branch network visits to build staff product awareness on Forex business
- Relationship
management with SME, Mid-Corps and Retail forex clients.
- Grow sector
customer base under assigned portfolios

transactions are appropriately processed and completed

The Position
Reporting to the Unit Head, Corporate Banking, this position
will be responsible for liaison between corporate customers and the Bank, to
market for business from Large Corporates and Medium Corporates and ensure
growth in the designated portfolio in order to maximize the Bank’s revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be the
principal point of contact for the Bank’s relationship with a designated
portfolio of corporate customers.
- To develop
business and ensure that there is increased earnings, facility utilization
and usage of all Bank’s products
- To ensure that
customer relations are maintained well to facilitate growth in the number
of customers, reduce complaints and also retain the existing customers
- To maintain a
good loan book and ensure profits are increased, accounts out of order are
reduced and downgrading/provisions are reduced
- To be the
principal point contact for the Bank’s relationship with a designated
portfolio of corporate customers and non-customers.
- To market for
corporate business for the bank
- To ensure
quality service delivery to corporate customers to achieve agreed service
levels
- Ensure
preparation and maintenance of appropriate reports.
- Grow Bank
revenues while increasing approved facility utilization
The Person
- University
Degree from a recognized institution. Possession of a postgraduate degree
or professional qualification in a related field will be an added
advantage.
- Minimum of 5
years’ experience in Relationship Management and at least 2 years’
experience in credit and a proven record of successfully managing and
growing a portfolio of corporate banking clients.
- Must have sound
knowledge of bank operations and procedures.
- Have the ability
to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Have the ability
to make prompt decisions and be independent in problem solving
- Possess
excellent analytical skills, be open-minded and have the ability to
identify alternative solutions
- Possess good
knowledge of Bank products and problem solving techniques
