Head of School: School of Hotel
and Catering
Key responsibilities
- Ensure
quality training by seeing to it that there is timely syllabus coverage,
class attendance, standardized student evaluation, effective
classroom delivery, effective timetabling and efficient records
keeping;
- People
leadership and management;
- Strategic
departmental management;
- Custody and
management of departmental facilities.
Qualifications, skills and experience
The preferred candidate
should:
- Have a Bsc.
Hotel and Institution Management, or a related degree from a recognized
institution;
- Excellent
leadership skills;
- Previous
experience in the same role will be an added advantage;
- Those with a
qualification in training/education will be given priority;
- Be self
driven, with ability to multitask;
- Be up to
date with current trends in the hospitality industry;
