Contract Date: 15 October 2011 – 31 December 2011 (with possibility of extension)
Terre des Hommes Netherlands is looking for a Project Officer as at October 15, 2011 to be based in
Nairobi. Terre des Hommes Netherlands supports services for children in need through partner organisations.
Responsibilities
Advice partner organisations on efficient and effective programme implementation
Assess new proposals/organisations in line with Terre des Hommes Netherlands policies
Advice Country Coordinator on national developments and trends in child rights, health, education, socio economic development
Qualifications
University
level in sociology, development policies, child rights, health or education
Five years experience in a similar position, of which three years in an international organisation
Experience in Child Rights based programming and financial management
Skilled in report writing, computer packages and fluency in English
Communication skills, team spirit and leadership qualities
