qualified personnel in the following positions.
1. Head of Technical Services
This
is a senior position reporting to the Managing Director.
The overall purpose of this position is to oversee KIWASCO technical operations for water and waste water;
ensure that the technical assets of the Company are acquired, maintained and operated accordingly.

Duties and Responsibilities
Steer the development of departmental policies, procedures and actions plans in line with company mission and objectives
Ensure that all water and sewerage services infrastructure is operated and maintained to the required standards.
Advise the Company on the acquisition of capital assets and on all technical matters
Participate in setting performance targets for technical staff in the Company
Oversee the planning and co-ordination of quality, maintenance and engineering (capacity works) related issues
Ensure good quality of water to customers
Qualifications
Masters
in Engineering /MBA
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
Registered Engineer
8 years experience with at least 4 years at management level
More than 30 years of age.

2. Head of Commercial and Finance
This
is a senior position reporting to the Managing Director.
The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that the strategy for service delivery, revenue generation and collections is put in place and effectively implemented.
To ensure that the company’s financial resources are managed in accordance with sound financial management principles and ensure timely production of financial reports.

Duties and responsibilities
Formulate
the company’s financial strategy and ensure it is properly implemented
Formulate and implement sound financial and accounting policies, procedures and systems which are compliant with acceptable accounting policies and legal requirements
Manage all finance relationships with external agencies and compliance with standards
Prepare budgets and periodic financial performance reports for presentation to the Managing Director and Board of Directors
Develop long-term business strategies and operating plans for the department which are in line with the longer-term goals and priorities
Ensure provision of timely and high quality client services that meets or exceed their expectations
Develop and implement systems for positive customer relations management
Manage and supervise commercial aspects of the Company’s operations, particularly as they relate to revenue generation
Promote new ideas and business solutions that result in extended service to the existing and new clients

Ensure financial reports are prepared and submitted in compliance with the company requirements
Provide timely and accurate financial reports
Manage, lead and develop staff
Ensure timely and accurate accounting, reporting and analysis in order to aid management decision making
