SIL International Nairobi Kenya supports the work of Bible translation and literacy programs across Kenya and Africa. We are looking for a motivated person to serve in our Nairobi Computer Services department.
Key Responsibilities and Work experience of this position include:
Proven skills in designing, implementing and supporting a LAN and WAN,
Experience in helpdesk management, troubleshooting and resolving user problems,
Knowledge in network administration and maintenance,
Experience in installing, configuring and maintaining workstations, servers and
windows operating systems,
Skilled in implementation and maintaining backups and security systems,
Working knowledge and experience in antivirus software installation and
monitoring,
Skilled in management of email system,
Experience in helpdesk management, troubleshooting and resolving user problems,
Knowledge in network administration and maintenance,
Experience in installing, configuring and maintaining workstations, servers and
windows operating systems,
Skilled in implementation and maintaining backups and security systems,
Working knowledge and experience in antivirus software installation and
monitoring,
Skilled in management of email system,
Interest in conducting training assessment needs and training users accordingly.
The candidate should posses:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent,
Certification in M.C.S.E or CCNA or equivalent,
Work experience in a multi-national environment,
Good interpersonal and communication skills,
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks,
A self-motivated and self-initiator attitude with the ability to work with minimum supervision,
A dynamic, proactive, results oriented attitude with strong analytical and decision
making skills
