Human Resource Manager Job. Salary K’sh 350,000.

Our client, a global telecommunication corporation that provides communications solutions to service providers is looking to fill the position of Human Resource Manager, for a region covering operations in Sub-Sahara Africa and the Islands.
Reporting to the HR Director, the Human Resource Manager will be responsible and accountable for providing country and line mangers efficient and efficient human resource services, within a complex matrix, multi-country virtual-relationship organization.
The Human Resource Manager will ensure that HR policies in the entire operating region comply with legislative requirements and remain supportive to the organisations dynamic objectives and changing business needs.
Key Accountabilities for this role include:
Develop human resource for the region that remain within global guidelines, create regional harmonization for easy transfer of employees and incorporate local practices to keep the business competitive and able to attract, reward and retain talent.

Create effective processes that deliver HR services in the areas of manpower planning and recruitment; deployment; performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, learning and development; reward and employee relations quickly, efficiently, and in a timely manner to country and business managers and employees in the region of operation.
Create and execute forums to educate and equip HR teams and line managers in the organisations operating environments on human resource management policies, procedures and initiatives to enhance their competence as people managers, enhancing the employee experience, engagement and the organisations overall employee brand.
Create strong working relationships with the country, business and line managers to plan and prioritise HR initiatives to ensure that the human resource functions remains aligned and supportive to the consistently evolving business priorities. The HR function should be deemed to be adding value to business and not hindering business growth and expansion.
This is a significant and immediate KPI for this role
Position Requirements
The successful candidate will:
Have a minimum of 8 years solid human resource management experience in a generalist capacity. This experience will include responsibility for end-to-end delivery of key HR processes, with a demonstrable ability to improve processes leading to improved service delivery, exploitation of technology and enhanced customer/end-user experience.
Have a minimum of 2 years team leadership/supervisory responsibility with the demonstrable ability grow the skill and competence of the team, and monitor the quality of work and service delivery to the delight of customers.
Outstanding communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships, influence, motivate and encourage consensus amongst peers, managers and partners at all levels to produce high quality results.
Have a very strong service orientation, with a track record of delivery and a demonstrated concern for quality.
Be independent, mature and confident, with high levels of drive, initiative and tenacity
Have excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Be a graduate, with certification in human resource management.
Experience in the telecommunications industry will be a considerable advantage
The ability to fit into the culture of this organization which is; fast-paced, energetic, consistently changing, diverse, virtual with regular travel; will be the critical success factor for this role.
Remuneration:
The starting salary for this position will be 
KShs 350,000 gross per month, plus benefits. The package is negotiable dependent on experience and demonstrable contribution.
