Bank Branch Manager Jobs in Kenya.

Our client in Kenya, full-service regional banking institution in Kenya with operations in close to 30 countries on the continent looking to fill the jobs of Branch Managers for its operations in Nairobi. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Branch Manager will manage and control the branch sales and marketing in order to maximize new business opportunities and deepen existing relationships whilst providing quality in service delivery in an efficient operation where risks are well controlled.
Key responsibilities:
* Direct involvement and supervision of all revenue generation at the Branch level
* Implement the Bank’s strategic plan at the branch level
* Assist in the preparation of budget and strategic plan at the branch level
* Prepare annual operational and capital budget and ensure that expected profitability objectives are achieved
* General supervision of branch functions, policies and procedures

* Provide periodic reports on branch encompassing progress and prospects to Management.
* Ensure operational efficiency by ensuring proper control
* Set and monitor Branch Service Standards
* Improve staff productivity and develop potential
Position Requirements
* A university degree plus 5 years all round banking experience in a similar position
* Sound knowledge of general banking law and practices
* Experience in retail lending propositions preparing and processing
* Competence in financial accounting/forecasts
* Excellent leadership skills
* Ability to plan daily and periodic operations
* High marketing and selling proficiency
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Sales targeting; Results oriented
* Computer proficiency
* Ability to lead a team
Remuneration: The salary range for this position is between Kshs 200,000 and Kshs 400,000 gross per month plus benefits. The salary offered will be dependent incumbents experience, demonstrable contribution and size of branch assigned.
